When you complete your purchase, a confirmation screen will allow you to immediately download the printable pattern. Please make sure to read the Welcome Letter on the first page. It has a secret link to “The Lodge,” your virtual hub for the quiltalong. PRINT this page for future reference. You will need it to access the videos or download the pattern to a different device. You can download the pattern any time within 60 days of purchase using the link on your receipt which was automatically emailed to you. Estimated Fabric Requirements

We recommend a variety of low-contrast tone-on-tone prints or solids plus one contrasting field fabric for this pattern. A minimum of 15 different fabrics (plus the contrasting field fabric) is good, but the more, the merrier. This pattern is stash friendly, accommodating pieces as small as 2″ x 2″. Quarter-yard cuts and fat quarters also work well. Watch this Fabric Selection video to learn more about choosing your fabrics.

There are three size options. Fabric quantities are approximate and will vary depending on individual choices:

Lap (approx. 39″ x 50″):  2 1/2 yds. total assorted fabrics, 1 – 1 3/4 yds. contrasting field fabric, 1/2 yd. binding fabric, 1 3/4 yds. backing fabric, 43″ x 54″ batting
Napping (approx. 50″ x 78″): 4 yds. total assorted fabrics, 1 1/2 – 2 3/4 yds. contrasting field fabric, 3/4 yd. binding fabric, 3 1/2 yds. backing fabric , 54″ x 84″ batting
Queen (approx. 95″ x 95″): 8 yds. total assorted fabrics, 5 1/2 yds. contrasting field fabric, 1 yd. binding fabric, 9 yds. backing fabric, 99″ x 99″ batting

This is a fully digital quiltalong, no printed pattern will be shipped to you. If you’re new to digital downloads, don’t worry. All you need is an internet connection and an ordinary printer. The pattern is in PDF format which can be downloaded, saved and read on any device. If your device doesn’t already have a PDF viewer (almost all do), you can download the free Adobe Reader here. Please Note: we are unable to provide tech support for your computer or printer.

The link on your receipt takes you to a welcome PDF including a link to “The Lodge” where we’ll post the installments and videos as they are released. Your link will be active for 60 days only, so make sure to download and save the pattern before your link expires. If you purchase the Summer Camp Modern Mystery Quilt 2023 pattern along with physical items (kits, fabric, magazines etc.), you will get the same link on your emailed receipt. The remaining physical items will be shipped to you separately.
